Tasting Notes
This is all seductive black fruit and wood smoke. A touch of incense too, like a Christmas frankincense cone, plus sandalwood and cedar. There are beautiful, bright berry compote overtones that stop the rich fruit core from taking over the show, with a light lacing of liquorice and maple smoked bacon emerging on the finish. Smoky on the mid-palate, which is surprisingly lifted - although not to the detriment of the intensity. In a nutshell, this is absolutely delicious.
