Tasting Notes
From the mid-slope of Les Luchets and Les Chevaliers. Vines around 80 years old. A steely style of Meursault, almost Puligny-esque. Good tension and a shimmering, vibrant style. Another thrilling wine but very young at the moment, it needs 3 to 5 years. Drink 2027 – 2040.

Buisson is now being talked about as one of the brightest new stars of Burgundy. We have been amazed at the quality, and how they keep going, with their flavours evolving little by little, whilst keeping up their energy and brilliance. Both whites and red in 2022 are superb. Buisson are one of our best ever finds. They are still so well priced. When I think what you can get from around the world in terms of fine Chardonnay and fine Pinot Noir, that represent the pinnacle of their respective regions, be that Sonoma, Oregon, Patagonia, Central Otago, Victoria, Margaret River, where wines have often gone over £80 to £100 a bottle, these from Buisson, which are outstanding, and better, you could argue, still offer amazing value. If you want to have some top Burgundy at a fair price, this is one of the best addresses right now
