Tasting Notes
This is such a classy wine! This Pinot Noir has always had such great concentration and pin-sharp focus to the nose- peonies and plums and spice and more mineral-edged too, alongside– orange rind and a little sage, with a gorgeous edge of mature crushed leaves and bracken and long, spicey finish with a kiss of tar.

We’re proud to have been one of the first agents to bring high-quality Bulgarian wine to the attention of UK wine drinkers, and Edoardo Miroglio has always been our Number One. Wine lover Edoardo searched high and low to find the perfect spot to grow Pinot Noir in Bulgaria. The piece of land he chose is on the eastern side of the Thracian Valley, with the Saint Ilia hills shade the area from the freezing Baltic winds while a natural lake nearby regulates the temperature. But Miroglio is no fool, he has had extensive tests and research done just to confirm his theories. He purchased the land in 1998 and by 2004 they had produced their first vintage.
