
Tasting Notes
From one of the leading producers of Chardonnay in California, Jamie Kutch is guided by a philosophy of minimal intervention. This Chardonnay comes from a cool vineyard just 3 miles from the the Sonoma Coastline. Very low yields in 2022 mean only 5 barrels were made. Kutch has a golden touch with his use of oak, it is deftly woven in adding a subtle spice, a savoury, toasty edge and beautiful complexity. This is supremely elegant and has real depth and character. It would be stunning with roast chicken, lobster and chunky chips or a beautiful terrine with toasted sourdough.
