Focusing in on a producer and vintage, then delving into their range, is a delight. A great way to familiarise yourself with a regions vintage and also a producers style. With Burgundy production often small (2020 was certainly a fine but small vintage) it can be difficult. So it is with great joy that we share this discounted half dozen of now matured Red Burgundy from an estate slowly harbouring a reputation that places it right around the top of Burgundy. Included:

Domaine Henri et Gilles Buisson is a sensational producer. They are most definitely a feather in our cap. We don’t come across producers like this often, that aren't already being imported to the UK. In fact, it would be just a few like this in a lifetime, such is the quality of terroir they have, but more importantly what they’re doing with it.
