Tasting Notes
The 2021 Irancy Les Cailles is a beautiful wine, busting with fragrant aromas of rose petals, peonies, warm spices and forest floor, followed by a medium to full-bodied, ample and perfumed palate framed by supple, melting tannins and mouthwatering acids. Spared by the frost, this site can suffer in very hot vintages but clearly thrived in the cooler 2021 vintage.

Brothers Gabin and Felix, who spent their entire childhood in the beautiful village of Irancy in Burgundy surrounded by parents and grandparents who were winemakers, that is how they inherited this fascinating passion of making fine wine. Their estate is located in Irancy, in the northern part of Burgundy, with Chablis as a close neighbour. With over 18 hectares of vines under the Irancy appellation, certified organic since 2013 they are deeply attached to Pinot Noir and are committed to respecting both the unique character of Irancy and the spirit of each vintage, which must be faithfully conveyed in each bottle. All we can say is, bravo!
