Every release seems to trump the last, Keermont really is one of the great estates of South Africa. It's lovely to see the estate and their lovely winemaker Alex Starey beginning to get the levels of praise from the critics that he deserves. The Cabernet Sauvignon is delicious.

We also wanted to highlight one of Keermont's extremely special, small production Cuvee's, which brings together their best plots in each section of vineyard. The Amphitheatre, named that after the shape the vineyards sit in, is so serious, so delicious.

Described as "That Cabernet Franc relishes being pole position on the nose with upfront blackberry, bell pepper, pencil box and black olive compote scents. Very fine delineation. The palate is beautifully balanced. The rejigged blend works to its advantage, endowing this cuvée with more precision and detail on the sapid finish. Excellent." by Neal Martin.
