Swig's 2025 in review

It feels surreal that 2025 is already coming to a close. There's been some great moments, fun trips and superb tastings. But in particular, I think it's been a really exciting year for new producers joining us. Looking back through the year, I wanted to shout-out a couple of these new producers that have really taken to the UK market, and Swig life, like duck's to water.

DOMAINE RICHOUX

Burgundy is not the easiest region to sink your teeth into as a consumer, but it's no cake walk for producers either. Now driven by young brothers Félix and Gabin, Richoux is putting the village of Irancy on the map and crafting organic, patient and hyper classic Burgundy.

THAMNUS ESTATE

When you make a Chardonnay so good it stops Tim Atkin in his tracks, you know you're probably doing something right. We're chuffed to bits to have PJ on board. South Africa's Hemel-en-Aarde boasts many brilliant wineries, so for this estate to break through and stand amongst the great names is a real feat.

CENTRALIS

An emerging star in our range, Sarah Burton's Pinot has become one of our most popular in its debut release. For this to be her entry point is frankly scary, we can't wait to see what more is to come.

VINE VINU

We very quickly bonded with Luis and Manuel Cerdeira, curry and their great wines helps that! They are a tremendous duo. Every time they show us a new wine, we are so taken in by it, and it's been really nice to see you guys and the critics find them equally pleasing. Next year will be super exciting to see what the boys bring next.
